Getting ready...

Postby eliya on Thu Jun 19, 2008 2:52 pm

I just received an email saying that my clippers are on their way! I had to send them in for repairs. I also found my camera that has been lost for over a month. Now I will be able to get the goats ready for this show! I can hardy wait. Anyone what to come help?!

I have about 20 MiniNubians that I would LOVE to put in this show. My family is really good about helping, but they don't particularly like holding goats that are squirming all over the place. :D I don't see why not... Just kidding, I know it is annoying at times - I'm glad for all the help they give me! I should be able to get at least some of the goats ready before the deadline. When is that by the way? Or isn't there a date set yet?

Cool! I hope you can get all your does entered. Do I want to come and help...NO! Not that I wouldn't want to help you, but clipping goats is definitely not my fancy! LOL! That is my least favorite thing to do to get ready for a show. Although I do like the results when they're all done! heehee!

The deadline is the end of July.

I know what you mean... It is fun to see the before and after affect, but the actual clipping is not really that fun. I enjoy doing the majority of the body, but when it comes to the legs, udder and face... FORGET IT. That is not fun. Plus getting all the hair stuck all over... A shower is a MUST.

I do the clipping by myself for the most part, it's taking pictures that I need the most help with. It's so hard to get good pictures of a goat!
